International Conference on –“Innovative Technologies Towards Energy, Environment, Food & Sustainable Agriculture” [February 26-28, 2018]
This was organized by Department of Mechanical Engineering, Raja Balwant Singh Engineering Technical Campus, Bichpuri, Agra in collaboration with Society for Sustainable Agriculture and Resource Management (SSARM) Hisar, India, International Foundation for Sustainable Development in Africa and Asia, GÖttingen, (IFSDAA) Germany and ICSA, Germany has organized three days International Conference, Feb. 26-28, 2018.

Hon’able Vice Chancellor, Agra University Dr. Arvind Dixit was the Chief Guest, Dr.A.P.Singh, Director & Chairman, LOC , Dr. B.S. Kushwah, Organizing Secretary , Dr. D.P.Singh , Former Vice Chancellor, JNKVV, Jabalpur and Prof. R.K.Behl from SSARM, Hissar were among the key persons Dr. M. Kern, Agri Excellencee.K., Germany, Prof. Devid Olson, Canada, Prof. Arthur Riedacker, Co-Nobel prize winner with IPCC Chair of Oikos Institute, Prof. Ravindra Chibbar, Professor & Canada Research Chair, Department of Plant Sciences, University of Saskatchewan, Saskatoon, SK, Canada, Machiavelli Singh, Amity University Haryana, India, Dr. Ranjit Kumar, Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Science, DEI, Agra, Dr. Ebrahim Kazman, Syngenta Seeds, Germany and Prof. Hossam Rushdi, Egypt were Chairpersons of the Technical Sessions. Around 350 delegates attended the conference and about 206 research papers were presented in the Four Technical Sessions and Poster Session.

This International conference provide a forum for international researchers’ community in the field of renewable energy, solar energy, biotechnology & biosciences to exchange and share the experiences, new ideas, sustainability concepts and research results on sustainable agriculture, food, and energy.

College to Corporate Programme – “Financial Literacy” [January 23rd, to February 19th, 2018]
 
This workshop was organized by RBS Technical Campus Bichpuri, Agra. College to Corporate program-“Financial Literacy” for third year and final year engineering students to help them prepare for the corporate world and perform better in the recruitment process. Prof. S.V.D. Nageswara Rao gives detail about Financial Awareness Basics, Overview of Financial Systems, Planning and Budgeting, Accounting and Financial Statement. The Course was run in Hybrid mode online work by individual participants, Face-to-face interaction sessions and Weekly activities in remote center through A-VIEW.

“Smart city” A Path to Progress was held on 4th October, 2017. Chief Guest for the seminar was Municipal Commissioner of Agra Shri Arun Prakashji. Key note speakers were Prof. D.K. Chaturvedi DEI, Ar. Shruit Arora, Urban Planner Nagar Nigam Agra, Er. K.S. Chauhan Technical Head UltraTech Cement. This one day seminar aims to acquaint the young engineers about respected Prime Minister “Narendra Modis” dream project- 100 Smart Cities Mission – launched by him on 25th June, 2015 and to make an initiative to participate in the mission.

This was organized by Post Graduate Department of Food Technology (February 17-19, 2014). Hon’able M.P. Prof. Ramgopal Yadav was the Chief Guest. Shri U.S.Tomar, Registrar, U.P.T.U, Lucknow were the Guest of Honour. Prof. Dr.A.P.Singh, Director & Chairman, LOC , Prof. Apoorva Behari Lal, Organizing Secretary and Dr.G.C.Saxena, Former Vice Chancellor, Agra University along with Dr. D.P.Singh , Former Vice Chancellor, JNKVV, Jabalpur and Prof. R.K.Behl from SSARM, Hissar were among the key persons. Prof.E.Dzantor from Tennessee University,USA ,Prof. Kasai from Germany, Prof. Lajos Bona from Cereal Research Ltd., Hungary ,Prof. Ravi Chibbar from Saskatchewan University,Canada, Prof. Memmet from Australia & Prof. G.Haeseart from Belgium and Prof. Bagci from Turkey were Chairpersons of the Technical Sessions. Around 300 delegates attended the conference and about 235 research papers were presented in the Five Technical Sessions and Poster Session.

National Conference on “Newer Horizons and Innovations in Biotechnology & Biosciences” [April 07-08, 2012]
 
A National Conference entitled “Newer Horizons and Innovations in Biotechnology & Biosciences” (NHIBB-2012) was organized by Department of Biotechnology of Faculty of Engineering & Technology, Raja Balwant Singh Engineering Technical Campus Bichpuri, Agra on April 07-08, 2012. The conference was financially supported by Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology; Government of India & Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) New Delhi.The Chief Guest of inaugural ceremony was Dr. R. K. Swarnkar, D.I.G. Agra who suggested and appealed to researches to reduce the time required for various biotechnological techniques used to solve the crime cases. In all 340 delegates participated in NHIBB-2012 from almost all part of India (18 States) and a total of 167 research papers were presented in 4 technical sessions and 114 research papers were presented in two poster sessions of NHIBB-2012.

SERC School on ‘Seismo-Electromagnetics [February 06-26, 2012]
 
A 21-days Science and Engineering Research Council (SERC) School on ‘Seismo-electromagnetics’ sponsored by Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India New Delhi was organized by the Department of Physics during 06-26 February, 2012. About 30 participants from various research institutes and universities attended the school. It was funded by the SERC Division, Department of Science & Technology, New Delhi.The distinguished scientists and faculties from various reputed research organizations and universities came as expert resource persons and shared their valuable knowledge with the participants of the school. The main area of lectures in the school was seismo-electromagnetics and the other fields include seismology, ionosphere, space weather, global electric circuit, environmental pollution, MATLAB, statistics and computer programming.

National Conference on “Energy and Environmental issues related to Chemical Industries [February 18-19, 2012]
 
The two days National Conference on “Energy and Environmental issues related to Chemical Industries(EEChemI 2012)” was organized by Department of Chemical Engineering in association with Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers(IIChE), Kanpur Regional Centre, Kanpur from February 18-19, 2012. The Chief Guest of this conference was Prof S.C.Mudugal, Ex Vice Chancellor, G.B.Pant Univ, Pantnagar and Guest of Honour were Sh. S.K.Handa, General Manager(Process) Engineers India Ltd, New Delhi & Dr. Sh. Sivkumar, Dept. of Chemical Engg., IIT Kanpur. Director and chairman of local organizing committee Dr. A.P.Singh were also present on this occasion. 250 papers from 9 states of India which includes New Delhi, Chennai, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Jharkhand & Uttar-Pradesh were received. Out of them 101 papers were selected. 4 technical sessions and one poster session were organized in this conference.

Faculty Development Workshop [January 23 to February 04, 2012]
 
A two weeks (14 days) Faculty development workshop was organized by the Institute of Entrepreneurship development, Lucknow (UP) from January 23 to February 04, 2012. It was sponsored by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, New Delhi and was organized here with the active support of the Faculty of engineering and Technology, R.B.S College, Bichpuri, Agra. The Chief Guest of the inaugural ceremony of this workshop was Prof S.C.Mudugal, Ex Vice Chancellor, G.B.Pant Univ, Pantnagar. The Director Dr. A.P.Singh referred to the problems being faced by an entrepreneur and emphasized on its easy and effective remedy. The issues of Entrepreneurship development planning, Motivation, Tools and techniques of marketing surveys, Project report preaparation, Book keeping, Accountancy, Risk Banking, Potential of Entrepreneurship in Food Processing sector etc were discussed at length in this workshop.

Deepta Gupta, Executive Vice President, Bikanerwala Foods Pvt Ltd., New Delhi, Dr.R.B.Sharma, Senior Scientist, CIRG, Mathura and Dr.H.S.Dagur, GM, Green Dot Health Foods Ltd., Roorkee, Dr.K.Singh from HBTI, Kanpur and Mr.Amit Garg, Head, Technical Services, Adani Agri Fresh Ltd., Gurgaon, Mr. Saneep Bhargava, CEO, One Cert Asia Ltd., Jaipur, Mr. S.K. Chauhan, Nodal Officer, Horticulture and Food Processing directorate , Lucknow and Dr. Ashutosh Upadhyaya, Associate Professor, BHU, Varansai. A total of 43 research Papers and 50 Posters were presented in the Conference during these sessions.  
     
International Workshop on Seismo – Electro magnetics and Atmospheric Science (IWSE-AS 2010) . [November 16-18, 2010]
 
It was organized by the Department of Physics (Applied science & Humanities) from November 16-18, 2010. The Organizing Secretary was Dr. O. P. Singh, Head, Department of Applied Sciences . It was inaugurated by Dr. B.M.Reddy, Space Scientist from National Geophysical research Institute, Hyderabad. The President of the Inaugural ceremony was Dr. H.N.Shrivastava and Prof. Mashashi Hayakawa, IWSE Chairman from Tokyo, Japan was present along with Dr. A.P. Singh, Director, FET and Chairman, LOC on the dias. The second day of the workshop and poster session was conducted in the faculty followed by Cultural Program in the same evening .The workshop resulted in important deliberations and about 75 research papers were presented. IWSE-AS 2010 was funded by CSIR,New Delhi DST, New Delhi, IIG, Navi Mumbai, INSA, New Delhi for 40,000=00, ISRO, Banglore and Ministry of Earth Sciences ( MOES), New Delhi.
