Special Lectures Series

The Department of Chemical Engineering & Technology organized a Special Lecture on 28th August 2019 on the topic, “Designing and Consulting in Chemical Engineering Projects” delivered by Er. Dinkar Saxena, M.D. Das Rasayanic Services. He told the students about concepts and tools of various aspects of chemical engineering with respect to environment and also discuss various software in demand as per the industry requirements.

The department of Chemical Engineering & Technology organized a Special Lecture on 21 February 2019 on the topic, “Internal Combustion Engines’ Emissions, Their Impacts & Remedy” delivered by Prof. Ram Prasad, Department of Chemical Engineering and Technology, IIT, Banaras Hindu University Varanasi. He told the students about the harmful effects of the particulate matter and discussed its impact on our health and plantations. It can cause cancer and breathing disorders. Prof. Ram Prasad also told that, fuel filters and Diesel oxidation catalysts can be used as protective measures. It was very informative talk for the students.

The department of Chemical Engineering & Technology organized a Special Lecture on 29 November 2018 on the topic, “Motivation for Entrepreneurship & Skill Development” delivered by Mr. Mangal Pandey from Saraswati Chemicals, Agra. He is running his own small paint industry. He told students the important parameters for setting up own startup, also the problems regarding market and how to overcome them. He also explained the paint manufacturing process in detail.
