One Day Workshop on “Scilab”[May 4, 2019]
It was organized on Saturday, 4 May 2019, at RBS Engineering Technical Campus Bichpuri Agra, conducted by the Teaching Learning Centre (ICT), Supported by FOSSEE & Spoken Tutorials at IIT Bombay under the Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya National Mission on Teachers and Teaching (PMMMNMTT), MHRD, Govt. of India. Prof. Kannan Moudgalya, Principal Investigator, TLC (ICT), gives detail about Optimization Using Karmarkar Function, Digital Signal Processing, Control systems, Discrete systems, Calling User Defined Functions in Xcos, and Simulating a PID controller using Xcos. The Course was run through a blended mode, using both live video conferencing facility (A-VIEW).
National Conference On “Advances in Chemistry, Food Technology & Environmental Sciences Towards Sustainable Development (NCSD 2019)” [ March 08-09, 2019]
The conference was organized by Department of Chemistry & Post Graduate Department of Food Technology, Raja Balwant Singh Engineering Technical Campus, Bichpuri, Agra in collaboration with Institute of Engineers, India (IEI), National Bank For Agriculture & Rural Development (NABARD), The Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), CANARA BANK, OneCert International Pvt. Ltd. and Krishi Vigyan Kendra, RBS College, Bichpuri, Agra. The National Conference was organized during March 8-9, 2019 in Raja Balwant Singh Engineering Technical Campus, Bichpuri, Agra. Shri Ramesh Chandra (ADM, Agra) was the Chief Guest of the NCSD 2019. Dr. B.D.K, Patro, Chairman IEI, Agra; Prof. B.S. Kushwah, Director (Academic) & Vice President, LOC; Prof. Pankaj Gupta, Director (Admin & Finance) & Vice President, LOC; Prof. A.B. Lal, Convenor and Prof. Sapna Tomar, Organizing Secretary were among the Key persons in the inaugural session. Dr Gourisankar Roymahapatra, Haldia was the Keynote Speaker of the Technical Session. Prof. Ajay Taneja, DBRA University, Agra; Dr Rajendra Singh Chauhan, Sr. Scientist & Head, KVK, Bichpuri; Dr Vivek Kumar, HBTU, Kanpur; Dr Anurag Singh, NIFTEM, Haryana; Dr Anubhuti Sharma, Diretorate of Rapeseed Mustard Research, Bharatpur, Dr Devendra Kumar, DBRA University, Agra; Dr R.B. Singh, DBRA University, Agra and Dr P. K. Upadhyay, RBS College, Bichpuri, Agra were Chairpersons/invited speakers of the Technical Sessions. 250 delegates were attended the national conference. 190 research papers (79 oral + 111 Poster) were presented in the Four Technical Sessions and Poster Session during two days. This National conference provided a forum for national researchers’ community to develop interdisciplinary partnerships and educational platform for moving towards environmental sustainability through green technologies, waste management and food security across the globe. In addition to it, Genetically Modified Crops act as a means of providing enough food for the fast-growing world population.
Two Days Workshop On “PERSPECTIVE BUILDING” [February 26- 27, 2019]
Two Days Workshop was organized by the Department of Chemical Engineering for final year students on, “PERSPECTIVE BUILDING” by INSTEAD, Gurugram, on 26-27 Feb. 2019. The purpose of this workshop was to prepare students on: Confidence Build Up Via PD Sessions, Awareness About Hydrocarbon Industry, Technical Concepts Rehearsal and How to Address Interview Via Mock Sessions. This Training Program aimed for increasing the probability of Selection and consisted of four sessions in all, imparting Awareness about Company Profile & Job Description and Personality Development. They also conducted Mock HR & Technical Interviews Session for the students to give them more insight regarding interviews. The students participated enthusiastically and were benefitted a lot by the workshop.
International Conference on –“Innovative Technologies Towards Energy, Environment, Food & Sustainable Agriculture” [February 26-28, 2018]
This was organized by Department of Mechanical Engineering, Raja Balwant Singh Engineering Technical Campus, Bichpuri, Agra in collaboration with Society for Sustainable Agriculture and Resource Management (SSARM) Hisar, India, International Foundation for Sustainable Development in Africa and Asia, GÖttingen, (IFSDAA) Germany and ICSA, Germany has organized three days International Conference, Feb. 26-28, 2018.
Hon’able Vice Chancellor, Agra University Dr. Arvind Dixit was the Chief Guest, Dr.A.P.Singh, Director & Chairman, LOC , Dr. B.S. Kushwah, Organizing Secretary , Dr. D.P.Singh , Former Vice Chancellor, JNKVV, Jabalpur and Prof. R.K.Behl from SSARM, Hissar were among the key persons Dr. M. Kern, Agri Excellencee.K., Germany, Prof. Devid Olson, Canada, Prof. Arthur Riedacker, Co-Nobel prize winner with IPCC Chair of Oikos Institute, Prof. Ravindra Chibbar, Professor & Canada Research Chair, Department of Plant Sciences, University of Saskatchewan, Saskatoon, SK, Canada, Machiavelli Singh, Amity University Haryana, India, Dr. Ranjit Kumar, Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Science, DEI, Agra, Dr. Ebrahim Kazman, Syngenta Seeds, Germany and Prof. Hossam Rushdi, Egypt were Chairpersons of the Technical Sessions. Around 350 delegates attended the conference and about 206 research papers were presented in the Four Technical Sessions and Poster Session.
This International conference provide a forum for international researchers’ community in the field of renewable energy, solar energy, biotechnology & biosciences to exchange and share the experiences, new ideas, sustainability concepts and research results on sustainable agriculture, food, and energy.
