Dr. Sanjay Gupta
Date of Birth - 13-Feb-1979
Brief Description Dr. Sanjay Gupta is currently serving as Assistant Professor of the Post Graduate Department of Biotechnology, Raja Balwant Singh Engineering Technical Campus, Bichpuri, Agra. He obtained his M.Tech degree in Biochemical Engineering from BHU Varanasi in First Division. He was awarded Ph.D degree in Biochemical Engineering from CSIR Institute IMTECH Chandigarh (JNU) in 2012. After completing PhD, he moved to PHRI, Rutgers University New Jersey USA for his postdoctoral training (2012-2014). Subsequently, he served as Research Fellow in the department of Chemistry, National University of Singapore and Nanyang Technological University at Singapore. He has published original Research articles in various International Journals of repute. He has attended a range of national and international conferences/ workshop and published more than 7 research abstracts. He is a member of International society of infectious disease and The Newyork Academy of Sciences. He has active interest in, Bio-Entrepreneurship, Biosafety & Biocontainment principals and practices, and Industrial biotechnology. He is broadly engaged in research and development activities in the area of antibiotic resistance mechanisms, iron homeostasis, Mycobacterium pathogenesis, infectious disease and translational medicine using modern biological techniques.
