Brief Description

Dr. Vivek Kumar Srivastava is currently serving as Dean Academics & Head, Department of Biotechnology at Raja Balwant Singh Engineering Technical Campus, Bichpuri, Agra. He obtained his Master of Technology (M. Tech) degree from H. B. T. I. Kanpur in Biochemical Engineering with First Division (Honors) in 2005. He earned Gold Medal in Post Graduate Diploma in Biotechnology (Tissue Culture). He completed his Ph.D from Indira Gandhi National Open University in the field of Life Sciences. He published 22 Research papers in National and International Journals of repute. He has presented more than 34 research papers in various National and International conferences. He has participated in Conferences at Venice (Italy), Antalya (Turkey), Gottingen (Germany), Radzikow (Poland) and Tehran (Iran). He has delivered number of expert lectures in National Level Seminars, Workshops. He guided 15 Post Graduate and more than 100 Under Graduate Biotechnology students. He has successfully organized 03 International and 05 National level Conferences/Workshops as Organizing Secretary/Co-organizing Secretary/Workshop Coordinator. He is the member of European Federation of Biotechnology, International Association of Engineers, Asia-Pacific Chemical, Biological & Environmental Engineering Society, International Association of Engineers Society of Bioinformatics, International Association of Engineers Society of HIV/AIDS, Board of Studies, Biotechnology at Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow. He is presently engage in research and development activities in the area of sustainable development with the use of Biotechnological tools.
