The Department of Applied Sciences & Humanitiesis committed towards achieving high academic standards through consistent efforts by its highly qualified, experienced and esteemed faculty members. The Department of Applied Sciences b Humanities is the base of all Engineering as well as Technological branches and has always laid emphasis on the applied aspects of science.    

The department has developed some specialized laboratories apart from regular laboratories with a view to strengthen research and development in different fields. The department has necessary expertise available in the different research areas of current interest such as seismo electromagnetic, atmospheric science, nano technology, operation research, mobile commuting, differential geometry, fuzzy logic, polymer science & technology, chemistry of natural products, water pollution, etc. Regular research papers are published in international b national journals of repute and are presented in international and national seminars/conferences along with publication of text books.
